Woodspring Wings Show 4th & 5th July 2009.

The Woodspring Wings show is the south west's premier model and full size airshow. It is held at the Woodspring Wings Model Airfield in Yatton, near Bristol. ( click here for map )

The 2009 show will include: Model Trade stands, Craft stands, Refreshments & Food, Helicopter rides, Side shows, etc. etc. All in the Glorious Somerset Countryside. A full programme is arranged with continuous model flying throughout the day, from 10.00am - 5.00pm.
Admission Prices (Same as last 3 years) On The Day * Adults - £8.00 * Concessions - £6.00 * Children (5-16 years) - £5.00 * Groups (10+ persons) - £6.50 * Family Entry (2 A + 2 Ch) - £20.00 * Children under 5 - Free	Pre-booked Advance Tickets (by Friday 26th June 2009) * Adults - £6.50 * Concessions - £5.00 * Children (5-16 years) - £4.00 * Groups (10+ persons) - £6.00 * Family Entry (2 A + 2 Ch) - £17.50 * Ask, for two day pre-booked tickets and coach/party concessions
You can book your advance tickets via email or phone. (see main Show Page for details.) - Closing date for advance tickets is Friday 26th June 2009. - No refunds can be made.
Camping The cost of camping is: £15.00 per night or £25.00 for a 2 or 3 night stay. Prices are strictly per caravan, motor camper or tent. All fees are payable on entry to the field. No refunds can be made. If you are camping you can pre-book show entry tickets, and camping, at a concessions rate.

Unfortunately there will no Full-size aircraft displays this year. Since 9/11 in the U.S.insurance premiums have almost trebled for full-size aircraft displays and aircraft. This cost had become the major show expense item, and involved many extra health and safety measures requested by the local Council. In Yatton look for the railway bridge and turn left directly before it (approx. 30 yards). Follow this road (which narrows) for about 1/2 mile, going over a narrow hump back bridge. About 300 yards on, turn right at the cross roads and Woodspring Wings is situated 400 yards, on the right, along this narrow road. From Junction 21 of M5 (Weston super Mare) At the roundabout follow the A370 to Congesbury (also signposted Bristol). In Congesbury turn left at the first set of traffic lights and left again at the second lights (signposted Yatton B3133). In Yatton look for the railway bridge, go over it and turn right directly after it (approx. 30 yards). Follow this road (which narrows) for about 1/2 mile, going over a narrow hump back bridge. About 300 yards on, turn right at the cross roads and Woodspring Wings is situated 400 yards, on the right, along this narrow road.
