Opening Times Show open to the public from 10am – 6pm ( No admission charge ) |

Attendance It is estimated that 4000 – 4500 people came to the 2006 Show. |
|
Models & Fliers Pilots come from all over Europe for this Show. Model weight limit is a maximum of 150kg. |
| Flying Field: 290mtr x 80mtr. Grass and very flat. |
|
Model Weights German regulations allow models up to 25kg
take off weight ( i.e. with fuel and or batteries ) without a licence. |
|
Models over 25kg require a licence from the German
Authorities to fly at the Show. For further details please contact me direct. |
| Insurance Mandatory. |
| Charges None whatsoever for camping / flying. |
| Pits Area Can be viewed by the public from behind a waist high safety fence. |
| Transmitter Control Very well organized and secure. |
| Pilots Briefing In German and English. |
| Commentary Provided by the Club. Very professional, obviously in German. |
| Marshall's / Helpers Many of them, they are totally committed to the smooth running of the Show. |
| Most speak English and really want their guests to enjoy themselves. |
| Facilities Toilets, Freshwater & Camping. |
| Refreshments Bar, Food and Ice cream ( On Show days only ) |
|
15 Free bons ( tokens ) per day are given to pilots. This
will get you about 7 beers a day!!!! The bons can also be redeemed for food. |
|
Breakfast Free of charge to all pilots flying at the Show ( Again Show days only ) |
|
Camping On site and close to the flight-line. Motor homes/Campers/Caravans can arrive from Monday 30th July and depart on Monday 6th August or at any time between the above dates. |
| Electricity Distribution points are connected around midday on Wednesday 1st August, yet again its free. European 2 Pin Plug required. |
| Utilities DRK are present ( Red Cross ) and the local Fire Brigade. |
| Local Amenities Hotels and Guest houses |
| Petrol Station ( 2km from Show site ) |
| Supermarket ( 2km from Show site Closed on Sundays ) |
| A few Trade Stands spaces left |
